Over at the Nursery Inn in Hopps Street, Hartlepool, the Pools Folk and Acoustic Music Club are gathering to enjoy the warmer weather and look forward to the Easter break.  They meet every Monday at 8.00 pm and sing and play until at least 11.00 pm.

And in the Causeway in Stranton, home of the Foggy Furze Folk Club, we’re looking out the new clutch of seasonal songs that come with the beginning of spring and the forthcoming bank holidays.  We’re singing about daffodils and lambs and all that springtime stuff.  We meet every Tuesday from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm  and always welcome new faces.  Why not come along and join in?

The Headland Folk Club, which meets in the Duke of Cleveland in Church Walk on the headland, is looking forward to playing host to Joolz Cavell and Iain Glover who are due to play for them on Friday, 7 April 2017.  Prior to that, they’re just having fun, singing songs each first and third Friday of the month.

And you know you’re always welcome whichever club you choose to visit this week, whether it’s just to listen or play or sing.

So why not come along.  At the Foggy Furze Folk Club, it’s £1 per evening for a singaround and £2 for a guest night.  You can contact me on kay@foggyfurzefolk.com or read this article again on
