Anyone listening to the Celtic Connections output on the radio? Looks like they’ve had one heck of a party up there in Glasgow.
Monday you can do an all-evening session at the Nursery Inn in Hopps Street, Hartlepool, with a drumming session, followed at 8.30 by the regular weekly meeting of the Pools Folk and Acoustic Club. Yorkie Gibson will be the MC for the music session.
And in the Causeway in Stranton, each Tuesday evening, Kay De ‘Ath shall be host for the Foggy Furze Folk Club, beginning at 8.00 and going on to 11.00 pm.
Next Friday, 13th, you can folk to your heart’s content at the Fishermans’ Arms with the Headland Folk Club where Paul O’Neill will be waiting to co-ordinate the proceedings.
There are regular sessions from 2 to 5 pm in the Fishermans’ Arms once each month on a Sunday, also hosted by Paul O’Neill. The next session will be on 15 February 2015 so get yourself along.
