This evening, don’t forget to drop across to the Headland Folk Club, being held at its regular venue, the Pot House (or Harbour of Refuge as it’s officially known) and meet up with Barrie Archer for an evening’s rousing singing and fun. And of course, you’ve got that lovely view to contemplate as you’re listening to the cracking songs.
Each Monday, the Pools Folk and Acoustic Club meets over in the Nursery Inn in Hopps Street, Hartlepool and Yorkie Gibson and his crew are gathered for music and more songs to pass the evening. They’re there from 8.30.
The Pools club is preceded by a drum session for those wishing a bit of stress-relief. Thumping good fun.
The Foggy Furze Folk Club meets every Tuesday, 8.00pm till 11.00pm for a singaround over at the Causeway, Stranton. We do have occasional guests, and our next guest will be Trev Reed and Renata. Will give you more details as we get closer to that date.
If you want further information regarding any of the above, you can stay in touch using www.foggyfurzefolk,com or, alternatively, get in touch with me on firstname.lastname@example.org. It’ll be good to hear from you. Over at the FFFC it’s £1 on a singaround night and £2 for a guest night.
