Isn’t this weather glorious?  Makes you feel like singing doesn’t it?  Well over at the Foggy Furze Folk Club, held each Tuesday at the Athanaeum Club in Church Street, Hartlepool, the members have been learning new songs to entertain one another.  We thoroughly enjoyed listening to Jim Windram’s new songs in his 15 minutes last Tuesday and are looking forward to an evening with Liz (Bishop) and (Teesside) Steve on Tuesday, 13 August 2013.  They do a good variety of songs and styles and are thoroughly entertaining.  Only £2 for a full evening’s entertainment.

Next Friday, 2 August 2013, will see the Headland Folk Club gathering over at the Pot House.

The Nursery Inn in Hopps Street, Hartlepool,  plays host every Monday to the Pools Folk and Acoustic Club from 8.30.  That’s after everyone’s worn their hands out at the drum workshop.

Just Us Kitchy Retro are regularly out and about, playing The Moorings this Sunday, 28 July 2013 to entertain diners and Skyran are quite busy with several gigs in the next two weeks – Fri 2/8 Charity night at Schooner, Sat 3/8 Seaton Carew Cricket club.

We still only charge £1 entry on a singaround night, or £2 for a guest night.  You can keep up with what’s happening or get in touch on www.foggyfurzefolk.com or get in touch on kay.death@yahoo.co.uk .  You’ll be welcome.
