This week Wendy Arrowsmith was once again our guest. you can always count on Wendy to give you a beautiful night of self penned songs and traditional folk songs with a large bias on Scotland. Wendy brought along two Australian pals John and Caroline Bushby who were also steeped in the Scottish tradition playing some brilliant stuff with John on border pipes, whistles, bouzouki, mandolin, vocals and Caroline on Celtic Harp, vocals along with Wendy playing guitar and vocals they made a wonderful sound to enthrall us in the second half of the night and had they club singing along right through the night. well done Wendy and no doubt we will see you again one day. I also announced that another great friend of the club Martin Nesbit will be our guest next April, we are already looking forward to seeing him again now he has made chicken parmo famous throughout the country 🙂
